Photo Description: Former comedian/writer/actor on Saturday Night Live, and current senator for the state of Minnesota, Al Franken. Franken was born in NY, but grew up in Minnesota where he attended Blake high school before moving on to Harvard where he graduated cum laude in 1973. The most recent election caused quite a stir with the recount dragging on for what seemed like forever. In the end, Franken beat out the incumbent, Norm Coleman.
